Teaching of the trial course in mastering modern technologies at UCU according to the Teach-IT.net method has been completed
Elective classes for students of the Social Pedagogy Department according to “The computer in education” program have finished. The 1st and 2nd modules of the program were covered. The results of a questionnaire of the students showed a notable growth in the knowledge of the students and confirmed the effectiveness of the course.
Summary works was received from graduates of the First UCU Information Technologies Summer School
One of the important requirements of the First UCU Information Technologies Summer School was the practical embodiment of the knowledge acquired in the process of one’s own pedagogical activities. Instructional Course with Teach-IT.net Method Starts
With the start of the new academic year at the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), the course “The Computer in Education” has started, with a developed Ukrainian version of the Teach-IT.net method.
First UCU Information Technologies Summer School Finishes
From 13 to 22 August 2007 an Information Technologies Summer School took place at the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) in Lviv, Ukraine. The basis of the school, held for the first time, was the instructional materials of the European method Teach-IT.net, the goal of which is to teach teachers in general education schools how to use information technologies in the instructional process and in their own education.
13 – 22 August. Information Technologies Summer School to Be Held
From 13 to 22 August on the basis of instructional materials developed for Teach-IT.net, an Information Technologies Summer School will be conducted. For the authors and organizers of the program this is not only an opportunity to raise the qualifications of educators of the Lviv Region in the field of information technologies but a real chance to assess the instructional potential of the method in practice and to prepare the ground for creating a Ukrainian version of the method.
Education for Democracy Foundation supports Teach-IT.net!!!
At the start of June the Ukrainian Catholic University received financial support to realize its project “Teach-IT.net: Building an Educated Society in Ukraine.” The international Education for Democracy Foundation as part of the program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation’s “Region in Transition” (RITA) Program financed part of the translation and administration of the Teach-IT.net program in Ukraine.
