18.10.2006 The Presentation of the Project

On 18 October 2006, at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics of Ivan Franko National Pedagogical University in Drohobych, a seminar was held for teachers and students of the institute, methodical specialists of city and district methods offices and informational-methodological centers, heads of district X of teachers of informatics, teachers of informatics in the city of Drohobych and the Drohobych district on the theme “Instructional and methodological provisions for teaching informatics in general educational institutions.”

Taking part in the work of the seminar were the editor of the magazine The Computer at School and in the Family, Viktor Dmytrovych and Oleksandr Poliakov, general director of the BHV publishing group.

One of the questions heard much during the seminar was the request for information on the new project “Teach-IT.net. Building up an educated society in Ukraine. Innovative methods for using information and communications technologies in the professional improvement of teachers.” This was presented at a seminar XXX the director of the Office of Informatics and Information and Communications Technologies L.V. Paliushok.
