Instructional Course with Teach-IT.net Method Starts
With the start of the new academic year at the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), the course “The Computer in Education” has started, with a developed Ukrainian version of the Teach-IT.net method.
Students in the university’s Department of Social Pedagogy and Master’s Program in Ecumenical Studies will study during the semester the particularities of using the computer in instructional-pedagogical work and in social work.
Lessons will take place in UCU’s computer classroom with the use of modern digital and multimedia technology. Also worth noting is the fact that informational competency is considered a necessary part of higher education at the university. Truly effective professional activity and self-realization in the humanities today is unimaginable without the use of the great potential of IT.
For us it is especially pleasing that the experience and results of the First Information Technologies Summer School, in particular the development and adaptation of the first four instructional modules of the Teach-IT.net method, will be used for their intended purpose. We expect favorable conditions for the development of the following modules of the method.
